Our story
Our two founders, Tommy and Mathias, have known each other for over 20 years. They founded Mindville, where they developed an asset management solution serving 1700+ organisations in over 100 countries. Mindville was acquired by Atlassian in 2020.
In parallel, Tommy founded Riada, a leading Atlassian IT consultancy in the Nordics which was acquired by Eficode in 2021.
Through 20 years of working with IT teams across the world and understanding their challenges, the idea for Starhive was born:

Starhive was founded with the wild ambition to develop the next-generation platform by combining the power of a data warehouse with the ability to build custom tools on top of the data.
For over two decades, we’ve witnessed—and been part of—organisations struggling with a fragmented landscape of scattered, siloed asset data and diverse software tools. Each tool serves its narrow purpose and they almost never communicate with each other, leaving vital business data disconnected and underutilised.
We knew there was a better way to do asset management.
