Supercharged component concept

The depth of Starhive data provides unbeaten richness and flexibility for managing global components.

In Jira, one unique component can only be used with one unique project. This limitation means that no global components are available in Jira.

Why is this unfortunate?

You want to be able to report issues or requests from different realms (projects) related to the same component to achieve holistic traceability.

With the Starhive integration for Jira, you have unlimited flexibility in modelling and making your global components available in Jira.

Hit the ground running

As a Jira user, you are already familiar with Projects, Issues, and Fields. It will only take you minutes to get up to speed with Starhive as our concepts are similar - but also slightly different.

At its core, Jira is about issues, and Starhive is about assets. The Starhive for Jira integration provides Jira users with the power of sophisticated business asset management, which is available for all user tiers and flavours of Jira.

"-Give me a list of Jira issues that are associated with Starhive products (assets) that have a reference to the colour red."

What is Unified Data Management?

Unified Data Management (UDM) is a comprehensive approach to managing data across an organization to ensure consistency, accuracy, accessibility, and security. It involves assembling and integrating data from various sources and managing it as a single, cohesive entity. The goal of UDM is to break down data silos, enabling better data quality, improved decision-making, and enhanced operational efficiency.

What is PIM?

Product Information Management (PIM) is a system commonly used by merchants and retailers to centrally manage data about products across an organisation. It serves as a single repository where all product-related information can be collected, managed, enriched, and distributed to various sales and marketing channels. The primary goals of a PIM system are to ensure data accuracy and consistency and to facilitate the efficient sharing of product data across an enterprise.
