Can you tell me more about Starhive?

Most software companies start with a domain specific problem - IT asset tracking, project management, HR etc. They then try to expand beyond this but their underlying data structure usually can’t keep up and they end up with new capabilities that aren’t up to scratch.

At Starhive we did things differently, we built a completely flexible data structure first. The domain can be specified by you and the types of data you choose to store, the types of tickets you create, and the workflows you define. Want an IT help desk? Starhive can do it. Want a tool to help onboard new employees? Starhive can do that too.

Is my company eligible for the Starhive for Open-source Organisations program?

To be eligible, your organisation must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Not an existing paying Starhive customer

  • Must be building open-source software

  • Must be a registered company

If you meet the criteria, you are eligible to apply with the form above. If approved, you will get Starhive Standard for free. If you move beyond Starhive Standard you will be charged at 50% our publicly listed price.

 

Will I need to send proof?

We will verify every application based on the content of the submission form first and foremost. If we have any questions or require further evidence that you meet our criteria, we will reach out to you via email.

What happens if I need to go beyond the limits in the Starhive Standard plan?

If you need to go beyond the limits of the Standard plan you will need to upgrade to our Professional or Enterprise plan.

At this time you will be charged but a 50% discount will be applied due to your non-profit status.
