What types of teams is Starhive suitable for in the IT service management world?

Starhive is especially great for teams at the beginning of their journey into IT service management software and starting to get processes in place, as you can build Starhive out as you go along. 

For large teams already using an ITSM tool and looking to migrate, it’s perfectly possible, but we recommend working with one of our partner companies as there are additional considerations involved.

What use case would you recommend IT teams start with?

It'll depend on the team and what's causing you the most pain today. You can always add more functionality, data, and apps to your system in future. 

However, we believe you can’t go wrong with asset management. Every IT team needs to track something and we’ve seen that implementing a simple solution from nothing (or from a spreadsheet) can have huge benefits for the team and the company’s bottom line.

Absolutely! Our comprehensive API helps you build connections between Starhive and existing platforms and extend the capabilities of Starhive if you need to. 

Not only that, but we have API connectors for Java and TypeScript, so you can easily use the Starhive API in your coding projects. This is especially useful for businesses that would to build a custom UI for their Starhive data. 

Why is Starhive more affordable than other asset and service management solutions?

Unlike other vendors we don't charge based on feature set. Our pricing is based usage of Starhive and how much data you need to store (whether that is assets, service tickets, or any other data you might want to store) which helps keep our prices low. 

What options are there for importing my data into Starhive?

We have three options for importing data so we are confident that you will be able to get your data into Starhive.

  2. Connect to over 450 existing data sources, including databases, popular software tools, and more. Starhive will sync periodically with your existing sources.
  3. Create your own import integration with our API
